Care-for-a-better-life Award – Ideas that transform life in old age
What does a good life in old age really look like?
The awards ceremony for the Care4-a-better-Life² Award at the ALTENPFLEGE trade fair in Essen was a resounding success and one of the event’s standout highlights. Together with the ALTENPFLEGE trade fair, the Edgar and Nina Kummerfeldt Foundation recognised projects that create new perspectives on life in old age through innovative ideas, great dedication and a clear focus on humanity.
The award-winning initiatives from four European countries impressively demonstrate how creative concepts, social commitment and practical solutions can sustainably improve the quality of life for older people. The projects stand for community, dignity, participation and new approaches to care and work with older people.
Discover projects that show: care can be more – and old age a new beginning.
